Our surgeon
Our Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Emily J. Kirby, has over 10 years of experience in private practice performing plastic surgery. In addition to her role at Kirby Plastic Surgery, Dr. Kirby was the first female Chief of Plastic Surgery at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, the largest hospital in Fort Worth. Patients travel from all over Texas and beyond for her warm demeanor, exceptional surgical skill, and attention to detail.

Our surgery center
Dr. Kirby performs plastic surgery procedures in Kirby Plastic Surgery’s City Surgery Center, our private, in-office surgical suite. As an AAAASF-accredited plastic surgery center, City Surgery Center in Fort Worth provides the highest level of safety and licensure attainable for office-based anesthesia. All anesthesia at City Surgery Center is performed by board certified anesthesiologists, providing the safety and convenience of a full-service hospital in the relaxing setting of a gorgeous medical spa.
Your consultation
Your plastic surgery consultation is a critical part of your plastic surgery journey. During your consultation, you will have the chance to openly discuss your goals and concerns with Dr. Kirby and our Patient Care Coordinator. Together, they will make sure you know exactly what to expect from your procedure and help you feel confident moving forward.
We enhance your recovery
In order to provide you with an easy and comfortable recovery experience, Dr. Kirby and her surgical team have established Kirby Plastic Surgery’s Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols. ERAS is a set of research-based protocols used before, during, and after surgery that is proven to help patients recover more quickly and comfortably. These often include a combination of advanced surgical techniques; non-narcotic pain & nausea medications; regional blocks, such as the Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) nerve block; dietary recommendations; and more.
