Jamie — Patient Care Coordinator
Jamie serves as Patient Care Coordinator and has a personal passion for first-class service. She has 8 years of dedication to helping patients reach their cosmetic goals. She will work with you to schedule your consultation, answer any questions that you may have about your procedure, as well as schedule your procedure for a time that is convenient for you. Jamie enjoys helping you along the way and being your biggest fan during your journey.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her children and their 2 Goldendoodles (Honey and Maple.) You can typically find her on the weekends at a Cheer Competition or sporting event cheering on her favorite teams.
Marianita Vela, PA-C — Physician Assistant
We’re proud to have Certified Physician Assistant Marianita “Mari” Vela, PA-C on our team at Kirby Plastic Surgery. In addition to assisting Dr. Kirby and providing exceptional care to patients throughout their plastic surgery journey, Mari is highly experienced in the latest non-surgical aesthetic treatments and technologies and helps our medical spa patients achieve beautiful outcomes with injectables, lasers treatments, and more.
We are proud to have Mari on our team at Kirby Plastic Surgery. From the moment she first meets a patient, she works to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience that exceeds industry standards.
Mari earned her first Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas State University in San Marcos, where she also minored in Health and Wellness Promotion. She then obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas – Pan American in Edinburg, TX. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a Texas Licensed Physician Assistant.
Mari is recognized as a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In 2022, Mari was inducted as an Allergan Medical Institute CoolSculpting Faculty Trainer.
